Lisa Basnight is a devoted woman of faith, ministry servant, and compassionate leader whose life reflects the love, welcome, and care of Christ. A native of Burlington, North Carolina, Lisa carries a deep-rooted commitment to service, hospitality, and community engagement that flows naturally from her relationship with God.

Lisa has faithfully served in church ministry as an altar worker within the Church of God, ministering with compassion to those seeking prayer, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. She also served as an administrative assistant at Chicago Tabernacle, supporting outreach, community engagement, and both local and global missions. In this role, she helped coordinate ministry efforts that extended the church’s reach to individuals and communities in need, demonstrating excellence, organization, and a heart for service.

She has a deep heart for mentoring women and a passion for caring for the elderly, consistently seeking ways to meet both spiritual and practical needs. Lisa is especially blessed with a Spirit-empowered gift of hospitality, creating warm and welcoming environments where others feel loved, safe, and genuinely cared for. Her hospitality extends far beyond entertaining; it is an act of faith and generosity that often includes providing food, lodging, comfort, and connection to strangers and those in need. Through opening her home, heart, and resources, Lisa reflects God’s own welcome to humanity—ensuring people feel seen, valued, and deeply connected.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Minor in Marketing from Johnson C. University, equipping her with skills that complement her ministry service, outreach coordination, and relational leadership.

Lisa is deeply grateful to God for the blessing of being a helpmeet to her husband, who is also her mentor. Under his loving tutelage, she has gained a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and ministry experience. Her life is anchored in the belief that her husband and family are her first ministry, and she joyfully prioritizes nurturing her home as a place of faith, love, and spiritual foundation.

Together, Lisa and Mark-Kelly are the proud parents of three children and the grandparents of nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Through Prayer Culture Global, Lisa continues to serve with humility, compassion, and faith—quietly yet powerfully advancing God’s kingdom by loving people well and creating spaces where His presence is felt.
