
Mark-Kelly Basnight

Mark-Kelly Basnight is a devoted servant of God, seasoned ministry leader, and voice for prayer, righteousness, and spiritual alignment. With decades of faithful service in both ecclesial and public arenas, he carries a unique calling to bridge faith, leadership, and wisdom for such a time as this.
Mark-Kelly is the founder of Prayer Culture Global, a Christ-centered discipleship movement devoted to leading people to “Discover Him, Abide in Him, and Yield to Him.” Through this mission, he is committed to cultivating lives rooted in prayer, spiritual maturity, and full surrender to the will of God.
Mark-Kelly has served extensively in church leadership as an altar ministry leader within the Church of God, where he ministered to individuals seeking healing, restoration, and renewed intimacy with God. He was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel through Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Greensboro, NC, and later ordained as an Elder at Way of Life Ministry in Chicago, affirming his proven character, sound doctrine, and commitment to shepherding God’s people. He also served faithfully as a pastoral assistant for the lead pastor at Chicago Tabernacle. Mark-Kelly also shepherded a home group for Chicago Tabernacle, providing spiritual guidance, discipleship, and pastoral care within the local church community.
In addition to his ministry formation, Mark-Kelly has completed public safety chaplain training, equipping him to provide spiritual care and presence during times of crisis, trauma, and emergency—ministering hope where it is most urgently needed. He is also a U.S. Army veteran, bringing a deep sense of discipline, service, and leadership shaped by his military experience.
Gifted by God with administration and teaching, Mark-Kelly is known for his clarity, order, and ability to communicate truth with both compassion and authority. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Phoenix, further strengthening his effectiveness as a teacher, communicator, and leader. He is also a Certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Trainer, and Coach, equipped to develop leaders, strengthen organizations, and inspire transformation through proven leadership principles grounded in integrity and purpose.

Mark-Kelly has been divinely inspired by God to speak His message, delivering teachings, warnings, and promises that call people back to righteousness, justice, and obedience to the will of God. He has a heart for men and a deep passion for strengthening marriages, believing that strong families are foundational to healthy churches and communities.

Beyond the church, Mark-Kelly is recognized as a prominent speaker and trainer for the United States government, serving audiences across the world. This global experience has uniquely positioned him to understand leadership, culture, and crisis through both a spiritual and practical lens—further strengthening his effectiveness in ministry.

At the heart of his life and calling is family. Mark-Kelly has been married to his best friend and the love of his life, Lisa, for 37 years. Together they are blessed with three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, whom he treasures deeply. His life reflects a commitment to faithfulness, legacy, and generational impact.
